Building an MVP for a luxury car auctioning application, undertaken as part of a recruitment process and commissioned by an actual client.
The challenge was to develop a distinctive MVP for a luxury car auction application, setting it apart from existing solutions available in the market. The project was particularly time-constrained, allowing only four days to complete the task.
The task at hand involved creating an innovative concept for an auction application designed to facilitate the auctioning of luxury cars. The primary objective was to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) enabling users to effortlessly explore ongoing auctions and actively engage in bidding. Additionally, the solution sought to empower users to initiate their auctions and effectively sell their luxury vehicles through the platform.
Deliverables included — market research report, user research insights, user flows, wireframes, UI and a pitch presentation.
Because of the tight deadline I had to prioritise my work. The 4 days have been split into: Day 1 — Market Research and Competitor Analysis, Day 2 — User Research, Personas and Empathy Map, Day 3 — User Flow, Wireframing and UI, Day 4 — UI, Prototype and Presentation.
